We have a vacancy for a Holiday Activities and Food Project Manager who will be responsible for the operational management of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. The Family Hub Team is a multi-disciplinary team within our Children and Families Directorate whose purpose is to work with internal and external stakeholders and families to contribute towards the Early Help Strategy and improve outcomes for children and families. Our Family Hubs are a local support centre for families with children and young people aged 0-19 years, (aged 25 with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)). They are a place: to get help, information, advice, guidance and support to overcome difficulties and build stronger relationships. that provides a multiagency offer that can be accessed face to face or virtually. You will work closely as part of the wider Family Hubs Team across the children and families system; ensuring we are a joined up service design and delivery, supporting our vision of One System. This is a fixed term opportunity until 31 March 2026. Main Responsibilities In this role you will: Lead co-production and engagement efforts with partners, stakeholders, providers, and families. Coach and develop team members to align with Directorate priorities and foster continuous improvement. Promote the voices of children, families, workforce, and partners in service evaluation and improvement design. Support Family Hubs governance boards to ensure community participation and engagement. Manage compliance for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, ensuring all procedures and statutory requirements are followed. The Ideal Candidate You will have: Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing teams directly and through matrix management, motivating staff to their maximum potential. Project management experience, including managing change and achieving targets within prescribed timelines (ideally within a Children's environment). Knowledge of public sector, social care, health, or NHS policy, service, best practice, and legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in using O365 and IT systems to gather, analyse, and present data. Don’t feel you meet all the requirements?
