The University is inviting applications for the post of Sports Coach in Women's Rugby Union.
Working with key university staff and the Students’ Union, the role will provide leadership for the Women's Rugby Union Team in order to drive the development of a high-performance sport culture at the University.
The successful candidate will be expected to take training, select the squad and oversee match day preparation and performance across the course of the season. Goals will be set in conjunction with the Performance Sport Manager. This role will require a 4 hours per week to include evening working, and the ability to travel to fixtures with the team will be expected.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the university as we deliver a new sports strategy. You must be appropriately qualified with a minimum of an up-to-date Level 2 Coaching Award as well as having experience of coaching in a performance sport environment. The ability to influence and inspire others, set and maintain high standards and having excellent communication skills also essential.
