Job Description
* Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Generate customer invoices and monitor payments.
* Chase overdue accounts and maintain an accurate debtors ledger.
* Bank Reconciliations
* Assist with managing petty cash and employee expenses.
* General Finance Administration
* Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
* Maintain up-to-date records in the accounting system.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
* A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
* Excellent understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes
* Strong proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
* High level of accuracy and efficiency
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
