Our haulage Client, offering supply chain logistics solutions is currently looking to appoint an experienced Customs Clearance Administrator to join their team in Lancashire.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be using the customs software to complete Import / Export declarations, ensuring you are keeping up to date with any changes in laws, regulations, and customs procedures.
Customs Clearance Administrator responsibilities include:
1. Preparation and completion of customs entries for import and export
2. ETSF
3. Liaising with UK Customers and overseas agents
4. Dealing with entry queries - commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation requirements etc
5. Calculation of Duty and VAT rates per consignment
6. Processing duty reclaims
7. Maintaining compliance with current and evolving customs legislation
You will have a good operational know-how of ETSF and customs clearance procedures. You'll be a team player, yet self-driven with a positive attitude and strong work ethics with focus on attention to detail and accuracy, as well as being good with numbers and a confident communicator.
In return, the successful Customs Clearance Administrator will be offered a salary up to £30,000, in line with skills and experience.
