This is an exciting opportunity to join ourNHS North East Lincolnshire Talking Therapies Service for Anxiety andDepression.
NHS TalkingTherapies North East Lincolnshire service is for people with common mentalhealth problems registered to a GP within North East Lincolnshire. The servicebecame operational in February 2008. We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilledand dedicated High Intensity Therapist who will work within the young peoplepathway (under 25s). The successful applicant will work between office base,community space and some remote working. The role offers variety and comes withthe opportunity to do further top up training, and specialise in an area ofinterest autism, perinatal or older people. THIS IS NOT A FULLY REMOTEPOST.
You must havea Post-graduate diploma in High Intensity Psychological Interventions and be anaccredited member of the BABCP to be shortlisted for interview.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate willbe involved in the children and young peoples project, offering step 3 CBT interventionsto service users under the age of 25. There will be an expectation to supportthe project management work and frequent analysis and evaluation of the pathwayto support developments. The post holder will work predominantly with the under25s and offer a flexible approach to meet the needs of the young people. Youwill work alongside young people to support the developing service, respondingto feedback to improve.
Interviewswill be conducted by NHS Talking Therapies Service Manager, CYP lead and aservice user representative. A short role play may be required.
Candidatemust be accredited with the BABCP.
The closingdate for this post is 11th September 2024. Interviews will take placeat Navigo House, shortly after closing date.

Job responsibilities
CLINICAL
Acceptreferrals via agreed protocols within the service (including protocols formanaging self referrals).
Assessclients for suitability for CBT or other Talking Therapy.
Makedecisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the departmentsreferral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service orback to the referral agent as necessary.
Formulate,implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients.
Educate andinvolve family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying CBTformulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.
Adhere to anagreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, andclinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times andensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.
Attendmulti-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment,where appropriate.
Complete allrequirements relating to data collection within the service.
Keep coherentrecords of all clinical activity in line with service protocols
Work closelywith other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-downarrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach.
Assess andintegrate issues surrounding work and employment into the overall therapyprocess
Carry outclinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys andevaluations, and help to collate and disseminate the results for feedback.
Support thetriage process in place to ensure appropriate referrals are accessing theservice
Attendoccasional outreach events to support the development of the service and shareinformation on CBT
TRAINING ANDSUPERVISION
Attend andfulfil all the requirements of the NHS Talking Therapies approved supervisiontraining.

PROFESSIONAL
Ensure themaintenance of standards of practice according to the employer and anyregulating, professional and accrediting bodies (eg BPS, UKCP, BABCP), and keep up to date on newrecommendations/guidelines set by the department of health ( NHS plan,National Service Framework, National Institute for Clinical Excellence).
Ensure thatclient confidentiality is protected at all times.
Be aware of,and keep up to date with advances in the spheres of CBT and other agreedpsychological therapies.
Ensure clearprofessional objectives are identified, discussed and reviewed with seniortherapists on a regular basis as part of continuing professional development.
Attendclinical/managerial supervision on a regular basis as agreed with Manager.
Participatein individual performance review and respond to agreed objectives.
Keep up todate all records in relation to and ensure personal development planmaintains up to date specialist knowledge of latest theoretical and servicedelivery models/developments.
Attendrelevant conferences / workshops in line with identified professionalobjectives.
ADVISORY /LIAISON
Provide anadvisory service on matters related to the practice and delivery of CognitiveBehavioural Therapy or other therapy to individuals/groups/committees acrossthe Mental Health Trust, Primary Care Trust and other voluntary agencies.
Promote andmaintain links with Primary Care and Secondary Care Staff to help co-ordinatethe provision of an effective Psychological Therapies Service.
GENERAL
To contributeto the development of best practice within the service.
To maintainup-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and proceduresin relation to Mental Health and Primary Care Services.
