Health Innovation Networks were established 10 years ago as the innovation arm of the NHS both locally with our system partners and working together nationally as a HIN Network. We are appointing to a new role of Director of Corporate and Development. An experienced leader from a health or life science background, you will have a track record for collaboration and network building, and an ability to juggle a complex and diverse portfolio. We are a small team and you will be close to the delivery of our work with an ability to lead and motivate a team of highly skilled innovators and improvers at the top of their game. We serve a range of organisations in the West of England health and wealth ecosystem with a geography that spans three Integrated Care Systems with a combined population of million. At the heart of our operating model is our local innovation pipeline that drives the discovery, development and deployment of innovations responding to local system priorities. Working as part of our Executive Team you will support all aspects of delivery, governance and development.
Main duties of the job
Corporate Team leadership supporting the delivery of our complex national and local work programmes
Ensuring compliance with the relevant policies and procedures of the RUH Trust including finance, procurement, recruitment, and HR; provides senior interface with relevant Trust Directors and service leads
Corporate Governance including support to the HIWE Partnership Board
Overseeing all our operating systems and ensuring they are fit for purpose for optimum delivery
Leading on business planning, workforce and Organisational Development, finance and budgetary control and planning
Leading on the development of our organisation
Leading on business development and bid writing
Reporting and assuring all our commissioners and key stakeholders in accordance with our operating licence and commissions.

1. Educated to Masters level or equivalent
2. Evidence of continued professional and managerial development
