Job Description
We’re recruiting for a PMO Analyst to join us within our Group Functions. The purpose of the role will be to support our the PMO management Team with the development, implementation and embedding of governance and processes for agreed projects and changes. Supporting financial process including tracking and reporting of project spend and investment approvals.
What you'll be doing:
* Developing methods, artefacts, controls, and processes to enable the effective management of the PMO.
* Supporting in the production of monthly reporting packs and deputising in review meetings with Stakeholders where needed.
* Working with embedded PMOs to check and question underlying data ensuring variances and conflicts are understood and resolved in line with our company standards.
* Supporting the evaluation and management of finances.
* Working closely with the Stakeholders on the resource, supply and demand processes to ensure that our resources are correctly accounted for and used as efficiently as possible, to avoid underutilisation and stranded costs.
* Establishing and developing best practice of MI collection across the Portfolios and perform pro-active checks across data sources, e.g. PPM, resource, finance data.
* Leading on process improvements and cost reduction efforts to promote continuous improvement
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* Previous experience working in PMO is essential
* Exposure to financial/analytical activities and being able to contextualise financial data to support the viability of Projects within the Portfolio
* Experience of working within an embedded PMO
* Excellent organisational skills with strong Microsoft Office skills – with extensive understanding of MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which enable you to foster working relationships within the team, client departments, and 3rd parties with ease.
* Ability to proactively review existing processes and identify waste and value, gap investigation and creating /improvement of new and existing processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
