A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for a Buyer or Procurement Surveyor to join their team and help support on a major substation projects across Scotland.
Key duties will include:
* Assist with high value subcontract and material packages.
* Work with senior stakeholders and project teams to deliver procurement requirements.
* Manage the supply chain and assist with supplier improvements.
* Prepare RFQ's and send out tender packs.
* Understand market trends and risk within your supply chain partners to assist with the procurement strategy.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 2+ years' strategy procurement experience for any main construction or infrastructure contractor.
Must have experience leading or assisting with ITT process.
Strong negotiation, supplier management and communication skills.
Ideally you will have strong civils materials procurement experience, but should they struggle to identify the above candidate profile, they would be open to meeting strategic buyers from Oil & Gas, EPC contractors or the subcontractor supply chain.
