A bit about Torchbox:
We’re the digital marketing specialists for many of the biggest charities in the UK; we build digital products for international NGOs, governments, and universities; and we created Wagtail CMS, used by Google, NASA, the NHS, and thousands more.
Our diverse team of over 120 people is mostly UK-based but has a significant presence in Manila as well as a network of people around the world.
We are on a mission to set a new standard for a purpose-led business. Torchbox is 100% employee-owned - everyone is a co-owner from day one, and we are building an amazing, progressive ownership and learning culture. If you are excited about this mission, it’s a great time to join.
We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our team.

We aim to create a culture and environment that enables teams to thrive, collaborate, and produce impactful work. You will spend your time managing the delivery of user-centred digital services, inspiring teams by helping them connect their contributions to the missions of our amazing clients. You’ll be an adept Agile practitioner with excellent facilitation and coaching skills, who can respond quickly to change and make sense of ambiguity. You will use your experience as an Agile delivery or project manager to remove obstacles, manage risks, communicate progress, and ensure excellence. Although not essential, we’re particularly interested in hearing from you if you have experience working with globally distributed teams, especially in public sector projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Ticket Creation and Refinement: Develop detailed, well-defined tickets for upcoming tasks.
2. Backlog Management: Regularly review and prioritise the project backlog, refining and updating tickets as needed to reflect changes in project scope or requirements.

4. Project Planning: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of project milestones.
5. Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on ticket status and project progress to stakeholders and management.
6. Quality Assurance: Review completed tickets and deliverables to ensure they meet the defined criteria and quality standards before closing.
7. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring that the team and client are aware of both current project spend and forecast spend. Identify and address any budgetary issues proactively to prevent cost overruns.
