Hours: 35 hours per week 39 weeks per year (term time only plus staff training days)

About us
Judged to be a Good School by Ofsted in April 2024, we are a mixed, non-selective 11-18 Foundation secondary school situated in the market town of Aylesbury and ten minutes from the Chiltern Hills – an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are close to Oxford, High Wycombe and Milton Keynes and surrounded by delightful market towns and characterful villages. The students and staff at The Grange School make it a fantastic place to work. Our students are friendly and confident and we strive to ensure that they achieve the success that they deserve. Required for September 2025 or earlier if possible, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic, motivating and effective Cover Supervisor to cover across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.
About you
You will provide effective supervision of classes during periods of teacher absence, ensuring students remain focused, respond to questions and stay on task.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners to enable students to achieve the lesson objectives and be able to offer support with learning as appropriate.
