Job description:
We have an opportunity for an Electronics Hardware Calibration Engineer to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the calibration and validation of all electronic hardware systems used in our racing operations. Principal Accountabilities:
* Performing calibration and validation of all electronic systems in line with performance requirements.
* Developing calibration procedures and documentation for all hardware systems.
* Working closely with the design and development teams to ensure system specifications are met.
* Identifying and rectifying calibration issues and ensuring the reliability of all electronics.
* Engaging in data analysis and providing insights to enhance system performance.
* Supporting trackside operations during race weekends and ensuring all systems function optimally.
Requirements
* A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Electronics) or similar.
* Experience with the calibration of electronic systems, preferably in the motorsport sector.
* Strong understanding of electronic hardware and associated software.
* Experience with motorsport data acquisition and telemetry systems.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python, particularly for automation tasks.
* Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
* Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
