We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Hinkley Point C team based Somerset. Location : Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset Hours : 45 Hours per week, 08:00 - 17:00 Responsibilities As a Commercial Manager, you'll be working within the he commercial function to manage the delivery of a bespoke or part of a package of work on a nuclear licensed site. You will work within a defined delegated level of authority, responsible for the implementation and delivery of commercial strategic objectives, and appropriate to the activities in which the role is engaged. You will have overall day-to-day commercial responsibility for a commercial team from inception to completion of the works ensuring that at all times the Company's governance and any contract specific requirements are adhered to Your day to day will include: Provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of: Contract Compliance, The financial impact of decisions; Value maximisation/cost saving techniques; Procurement strategy Accurately monitor, forecast and report project cost and value. Ensure all contractual notifications are correctly in place. Identification of change and support the Change Control procedures on the project. Assessment and payment of sub-contract applications for payment in line with contractual, industry and business requirements (including the issuing of notifications); What are we looking for?
