An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to undertake the role of Senior Radiographer in the Radiology Department at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
To act as a senior radiographer across the Trust Radiology department. Applicants must be adaptable and be prepared to work evenings, nights and weekends as part of a seven-day service delivery. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
* Broad experience in general radiography to include ED, orthopaedic and theatre work. This may be supplemented by short courses + CPD.
* Supervisory experience
* Evidence of CPD
* Previous NHS experience
* Previous out of hours working
Qualifications/Training
* DCR or B.Sc. Diagnostic Radiography
* Health and Care Professions Council Registration
* Evidence of further study/training
Personal Attributes & Skills
* Knowledge/understanding of IR(ME)R and IRR Regulations
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Broad experience in General radiography
* Logical & Methodical manner
* Able to accommodate the demands of the post as required with flexible working and good attendance.
* Able to travel independently between all sites as required.
* Caring attitude towards patients
* Communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
* Deal with all clients regardless of medical or social problems
* Tact and Diplomacy
* Ability to deal with clients who have barriers to communication (language, deafness, learning difficulties)
