About Platform Experience Team @ Accelerant
We are building a rapidly growing marketplace ecosystem, launched in 2024, that currently consists of 50+ partners. Accelerant is building an interconnected ecosystem to support the evolution of the insurance market and enable our Members to access best-in-class service providers.
The role
As the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Accelerant, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and scaling our ecosystem of insurance-related service providers. This role is crucial in accelerating the growth of our B2B marketplace by onboarding high-quality vendors and fostering strategic relationships within the insurance industry.
How you will spend your time
* Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with Accelerant’s business goals.
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard new insurance service providers to expand the marketplace offerings.
* Lead the growth of the marketplace, supporting management in the execution of this across the organization.
* Work closely with our Marketing team to develop initiatives to co-market with our partners and ensure the visibility of the marketplace across our membership base.
* Obsess over the end-to-end marketplace experience, providing training, support, and onboarding for anyone who needs it.
* Analyse usage data to determine which partnerships are effective and guide ongoing product and feature development.
You will be successful if you have
* At least 5 years’ experience, preferably in a B2B market.
* Experience in the Insurance market, FinTech market, or other similar highly regulated industry.
* A proven history of successful partnership management.
* Experience evaluating and negotiating 3rd party vendor agreements.
* Outstanding communication skills, especially the ability to work closely with experts in different domains, understand their needs, and translate them into new products/services.
* Highly collaborative and willing to give and accept constructive feedback.
* Ability to build strong user-centered customer experiences.
* Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Self-starter; ability to act autonomously.
* High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and sense of urgency in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
* Experience working with and managing geographically distributed teams.
* Demonstrated success working with C-level executives.
* A big-picture perspective with a passion for success and willingness to dive into the details necessary to achieve it.
