Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our team for maternity cover on a fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional healthcare services to our valued customers. The role is full-time 40hrs onsite.
Responsibilities:
1. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
3. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to legal requirements.
4. Oversee inventory management and order pharmaceutical supplies.
5. Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
2. Valid pharmacy license in the UK.
3. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well in a team and provide leadership when needed.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
1. Demonstrates the ability to audit data for entry accuracy and recognise inconsistencies with output.
2. Proven ability to work independently.
3. Demonstrates effective attention to detail and the development of alternative plans to ensure satisfactory service in accordance with contract terms.
4. Proven proficiency at checking prescriptions.
5. Demonstrates intermediate level proficiency in the use of computer-based systems, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, email, and/or database applications.
6. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
7. Ability to maintain relationships with internal colleagues and external clients.
