A week in the life of a Robotic Process Automation Engineer IV: Develops specifications to design, configure, and implement automated workflow solutions and streamline business processes. Designs, deploys, and maintains scalable process automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) frameworks, tools, and applications. Routinely monitors and tests RPA solutions and troubleshoots and resolves functional issues. Uses RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Workfusion, Automation Anywhere) to deliver reusable automation components compatible with existing systems and applications. In addition, gathers and analyzes existing process flows, use cases, and technical requirements to identify new opportunities for automation. Collects data and metrics to monitor and maintain bot performance, measure utilization, and enhance functionality. Documents and maintains scripts, algorithms, and logic to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable performance and functionality. Highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
