As an HR Advisor, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring line managers, improving their confidence, and ensuring smooth HR operations.Key Responsibilities:People Strategy:Collaborate with the Head of People to implement our clients' people strategy locally.Recruitment:
1. Work closely with internal and external recruitment partners to appoint high-quality employees promptly.
2. Support managers in workforce planning to recruit skilled individuals aligned with business needs.
3. Champion the “Refer a Friend” program and local open day events.
Induction:
4. Lead hospital onboarding activities for new joiners, ensuring timely and effective induction.
5. Collaborate with cluster hospitals for maximum inclusion and engagement.
Probation:
6. Assist managers and new starters in following probation procedures.
7. Provide guidance throughout the process.
8. Ensure proper right-to-work checks aligned with Spire policy.
9. Maintain accurate and confidential employee files (GDPRpliance).
10. Update professional registrations (, NMC, HCPC) as per Spire policy.
11. Stakeholder Management:
12. Cultivate excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
13. Execute HR activities in line with our purpose & values.
Wellbeing:
14. Advocate for employee wellbeing, promoting relevant tools and support mechanisms.
15. Encourage utilisation of resources like EAP, Spire for You Wellbeing Hub, and more.
16. Occupational Health:
17. Efficiently manage Occupational Health processes for employees.
18. Provide support to managers during challenging situations.
19. Absence Management:
20. Proactively handle absence cases to reduce short-term and effectively manage long-term absence.
21. Support managers in balancing employee needs and departmental resources.
22. Employee Relations:
23. Be the initial point of contact for HR matters.
24. Provide consistent, high-quality HR advice.
25. Support managers in performance management, disciplinary issues, and attendance matters.
26. Policies and Legislation:
27. Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
28. Coach, advise, and train as needed for maximum understanding.
