Job summary Applications are invited for enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Dermatologists to join our well-established and expanding department. This is a replacement post for a General Dermatologist and is ideally suited for someone with or wishing to develop a specialist interest eg patch testing, autoimmune disease, vulval dermatoses, complex surgery / Mohs micrographic surgery. It is anticipated that this post will be for 10 programmed activities per week. However, we would be happy to interview applicants wishing to work part-time or in a job share. Whilst there are not currently any inpatient beds, the successful applicant will work closely with medical colleagues to provide inpatient support and outpatient services. Develop their own area of specialist interest and provide sub-specialty expertise Develop and expand the current Dermatology service locally and regionally Work with the Clinical Director and General Manager to review current working practices and drive forward innovative changes to develop new models of care. Provide expert advice and support regarding complex cases to clinical colleagues in primary and secondary care.
