Reporting directly to the People Manager – Talent Acquisition, you will be part of a TA team of five within a wider People team of 40+. You’ll work across multiple business areas—both on and off the pitch—building strong relationships with stakeholders and delivering an outstanding recruitment experience.

Role Accountabilities
1. Act as a true recruitment advisor for City Football Group (CFG), Manchester City Football Club (MCFC), and international clubs where required – working to understand the resource requirements and then creating and managing 360 recruitment plans. Ensuring at all times a positive and engaging experience for hiring managers and candidates, always seeking ways to continuously improve our processes.
2. Undertake all activities as part of the recruitment lifecycle including obtaining the required approvals, drafting job descriptions, advertising across multiple channels, headhunting (where required), screening and shortlisting applications, and attending interviews.
3. Partner with the wider team to keep systems and data tracking updated.
4. Provide insight to stakeholders on external market trends and talent suitability.
5. Manage the recruitment PSL actively reviewing and ensuring we are partnering with the most efficient agencies.
6. Work closely with the People Business Partners to understand critical recruitment needs across their business areas and build a deep understanding of those business areas to offer TA expertise.
7. Manage senior stakeholder relationships autonomously ensuring leader satisfaction is high with the TA service.
8. Reverse coaching providing insight on the best practice and technologies within TA from the external market knowledge.
9. Drive and encourage all hiring managers to recruit diverse talent coaching on wider and alternative talent pools.
Essential:
* Must have experience recruiting in different sectors and a demonstrable ability to learn new sectors OR relevant sector experience detailed in the desirable section.
* Extensive experience of managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple departments and disciplines (internally or agency side).
* Experience or an understanding of working with varying worker types – e.g. Full time, consultants, agency staff etc.
* Expertise in utilising a breadth of attraction methods with strong direct sourcing experience including social media channels, LinkedIn, and specialist job boards.
* Experience of managing an agency PSL and maintaining long-term relationships.
* Knowledge and experience of recruiting for a diverse organisation, embedding best practice ED&I into talent acquisition methods.
* Experience or a desire to work on TA projects (such as EVP, candidate experience, Manager training etc).
* Strong experience multitasking, managing 20+ active roles at a time as well as project work.
* Demonstrable evidence of building and maintaining (internal & external) stakeholder relationships.
Desirable:
* Experience recruiting within a sporting organisation, or similar fields such as medical or physical performance.
