Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions will be vital in helping clients maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the care they need.
Responsibilities
1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
3. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
5. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Skills
1. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
2. Ability to follow care plans that address individual needs.
3. Experience working in a home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
4. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using healthcare software applications.
5. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
