Employee Relations Advisor
Mon-Fri, 8am - 4.30pm, 40 hours p/week.
£36,000 - £38,000 per annum
This is a hybrid role with a split of working at our head office in South Bermondsey and client sites across central London.
Fooditude are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our small but mighty People team who make a real impact across the business. You'll be joining a fast-paced environment and will have exposure to a breadth of employee relations that require support from our Employee Relations Advisor. A proactive, hands-on and operational approach is key in this role.
We are a contract catering company so understanding of the hospitality industry is a bonus. If you have a keen eye for improving and implementing useful approaches and guidance in people matters, then this could be the role for you!
What our Employee Relations Advisor will be doing:
* Be the first point of contact for all Employee Relation queries
* Lead in providing practical advice and support on all areas of ER including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, probation, family friendly policies, performance management and employment legislation
* Present as the people representative in formal meetings
* Ensure all ER matters comply with company policies and employment legislation
* Update and review company policies in line with legislative changes
* Compile monthly ER & Sickness reports
* Visit our client sites across Central London where our on-site teams are based
* Support managers with day-to-day people queries
* Deliver training to enable managers to follow best practice in ER
* Ad hoc projects to support our annual People Strategy
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience as an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or similar
* Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law
* Level 5 CIPD qualified or equivalent is a bonus but not essential
* Proven experience in managing a range of complex employee relations
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Able to work independently and within a small team
