About the role:
Our client is seeking a high-judgment, self-motivated, and creative professional to help drive social storytelling and outstanding content in support of their biggest FMGC brands’ communication goals. Our Social Centre of Excellence will service the client's homecare brands across the UK and Europe. The team will be made up of various social experts and sitting within the client’s in-house agency in Kingston. Their aim is to better service our Homecare brands social needs, providing responsive and creatively breakthrough social content. Do you have a social-first and mobile-first view of content? In today’s fast-moving social media landscape, this is a rare opportunity to help our Homecare category tell its story to the world.
What you will be doing:
* You will be responsible for elevating the creativity of the social output across our UK/EU markets for local brands (where required) and the client's home for cleaning tips and tricks.
* You will help conceptualise for creating video content for TikTok and Instagram as well as overseeing content creators and quality control of the assets in the EU markets.
* You will be sitting within the client's team in Kingston, working closely with both client stakeholders and content creators.
* You’ll need to be comfortable working on multiple projects at once and rolling your sleeves up to support the creators in making video content at pace.
* You’re excited about the integration of Gen AI tools and approach new innovations with energy and curiosity.
What you need to be great in this role:
* Being socially native – understanding social platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram. It’s a bonus if you’re a content creator in your own right.
* Being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit – jumping on new social trends and being proactive with ideas.
* End to end content creation – you’ll need to be comfortable creating content from brief to completion.
* Being an effective communicator, able to articulate your ideas and concepts to clients and colleagues.
* Critical judgement – you’ll have a high degree of autonomy, so you’ll need to be really attuned as to whether an idea will create breakthrough for a brand or be damaging.
* Inspiring your team – you’ll need to be able to inspire and guide the content creators in your team, working remotely with them, listening, and understanding their market differences but also helping them achieve their full potential.
