About the Opportunity
Due to huge market demand and company expansion plans, our Client is in the market for a proven Design Manager from a Joinery, who’s ideally got the buildability knowledge that’s progressed from the bench.
1. Responsible for the production and management of design and technical documentation on projects from start to final account
2. Managing design team
3. Working alongside production line
4. Working closely with installation teams and Project Manager
5. Client / Architect meetings
6. Use specialist computer software to produce plans and technical drawings for a range of products and components (2D and 3D, Solidworks, and Revit)
7. Ability in BIM modelling would be an Advantage but not essential.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Just like every business this contractor does look for a certain type of person. You’ll need proven 5years (minimum) experience working as a Design Coordinator / Manager for a rival Joinery Contractor, degree or CIOB qualified.
You’ll need to be a team player that can plan, technically competent, experienced in and knowledgeable in joinery and be capable of executing works to complete projects on time, meeting their client’s expectations. So, all in all, you need to be a specialist that is confident, capable and committed. Sound like you?
