Job Description:

The shift pattern for this position is Wed and Thurs 0830 – 1630 Fri 0830 - 1612. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Stroke Physiotherapy Team in Clyde hospitals as a Band 6 physiotherapist, 22.2 hrs over 3 days. Our team is supportive, dynamic and friendly, working together to achieve the best for patients and their families. You will be expected to work between our acute stroke ward and our rehabilitation wards and provide cover at both RAH and IRH if required.
We support continuing professional development individually and as a team we learn together through regular group CPD. We work together as a team to develop the service in a forward-thinking and transparent way, everyone on the team is valued for their vision and contribution to service delivery and improvement. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapists who will work to provide high quality assessment and rehabilitation to stroke patients within Clyde Stroke Physiotherapy Inpatient Services.
You will have responsibility for the supervision, education, and development of band 5 staff, physiotherapy support workers, and students within the specialty. You will provide direct patient care and rehabilitation of stroke patients, have specialist clinical knowledge in stroke, and will enjoy working collaboratively with the team to progress and evaluate the physiotherapy stroke service. You must be passionate in the provision of rehabilitation and improving the lives of people living with stroke and their families. You will have some experience in service development and quality improvement, and should have previous experience of working clinically in stroke/neuro rehabilitation.
