Care Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Reports To: Registered Manager
Pay: £28,000 to £29,000 per year (depending on experience)

Purpose of the Role:
* Support the Registered Manager in the daily management of our home care service.
* Ensure adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures to safeguard client and staff well-being.
* Lead and support Care Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stay updated with relevant regulations and implement best practices.
* Communicate policies, processes, and goals to the care team.
* Provide leadership to ensure clients receive excellent care and staff are well-managed.
* Maintain positive relationships with staff, clients, healthcare providers, and families.
* Assess client care needs, create and review care plans, and conduct service reviews.
* Monitor and maintain accurate care records, ensuring respect for clients' rights.
* Respond promptly to changes in clients' conditions and staff reports.
* Attend consultations for new clients, conduct assessments, and support onboarding.
* Handle client concerns, incidents, and feedback according to policies.
* Manage and supervise Care Support Workers, handling performance, appraisals, training, and disciplinary matters.
* Participate in the on-call rota for emergency support.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Essential: Level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Essential: Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Health and Social Care and 1 year in a senior role.
* Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and related applications.
