Deputy Manager - Residential Home for Adults with Learning Disabilities

The Deputy Manager Role
1. Your focus is on supporting and managing the teams who deliver care within the care home and ensuring that high-quality person-centred support is consistently provided.
2. Take responsibility for the development and implementation of systems and processes within the service.
3. Ensuring through auditing that all care documentation is up to date and is reflective of each individual's needs.
4. Dealing with any safeguarding issues.
5. Ensure that when people's care needs change, they are re-assessed, and new contracts put in place to meet people's needs.
6. Work on new business opportunities for the service.
7. Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
About You
1. You'll need to be an experienced Deputy Manager / Supported Living Manager / Service Manager of a regulated care service before - such as a care home or supported living service.
2. You'll be driven by a passion to deliver services for people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities that are truly person-centred and make a difference to people's lives.
3. Ideally, you'll hold QCF level 5 qualification in Leadership of Social Care but if not, as long as you are willing to work towards it, we can consider you.
4. You'll be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of CQC standards and legislation relevant to managing social care.
