Insight Investment is looking for a Product Owner (Core Investment Systems) to join the Application Product Management team in London.
The Product Owner bridges the gap between technology and the business and in turn helps nurture a long-standing collaborative partnership. As part of the Core Investment Systems Product Team (CIS), our largest Product Team, you will focus on SPGM thinkFolio and associated market connections, systems, and business processes across Front Office, Trading, Compliance, and Middle Office.
We are looking for a Product Owner to join us as we build out our technology roadmap around a common investment platform which includes thinkFolio. It's an exciting opportunity to join us towards the start of this journey following a recent long and complex upgrade cycle, and our continued growth will enable us to keep up with client internal and external partners for innovative and robust technical solutions.

* Work with business stakeholders, Business Owner, and teams to ensure items are turned into actionable user stories, generally documenting requirements via prioritised EPICs that the team will detail into Stories.
* Work with the Product Manager and Business Owner to define the value associated with the product backlog items and ensure the team forecasts and tracks measurable benefits.
* Provide the link between the Business Lead/Team and the Development Team; acting as the subject matter expert to give context to the Development Team around the outcomes they are delivering.
* Attend agile and scrum meetings to ensure that the development work is aligned with the product roadmap.
* Work with the team and especially Business Analysts on options to meet requirements, to support their delivery.
* Liaise and work with other Product Teams and Support Teams to ensure cross-team initiatives are joined up and appropriately sequenced.
