A leading Regional Main Contractor that builds, refurbishes, and regenerates homes and communities across the North West has an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
The Contracts Manager will be working on various new build social housing projects across the Greater Manchester area for this continuously growing company with a respected reputation in the affordable housing sector.
Role Overview:
1. Organisation and control of Site Teams
2. Quality control
3. Cost control
4. Implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
5. Pre and post contract planning and coordination
6. Monitoring production levels and instigating necessary action
7. Site set up and presentation and maintaining for contract duration
8. Production & programme
9. Sales/Customer liaison
10. Liaison with external agencies
11. Coordinate drawings and specifications
12. Compliance of Contractual responsibilities
Experience:
1. Strong track record of managing multiple projects concurrently of various sizes and at different stages, delivered on time and to budget
2. Background overseeing new build residential projects
3. Excellent all-round construction knowledge and experience
4. Strong understanding of UK building regulations
5. Excellent management skills with the ability to get the best out of full site teams
6. Full UK drivers' license
