What we are looking for:
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. As a key member of the facilities team, you will handle the preventative maintenance, inspection, and servicing of equipment on site. You will be responsible for addressing repairs of equipment on site, coordinating facilities service providers, and working closely with our contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ability to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and service to various types of equipment.
2. Accurate maintenance of service logs accordingly.
3. Assist with the installation, assembly, and relocation of various types of equipment.
4. Work with contractors to impart site-specific knowledge.
5. Ability to troubleshoot issues with mechanical devices.
6. Review and replace damaged, worn, or broken parts.
7. Coordinate facility service suppliers.
8. Adhere to company personal protective equipment policies.
9. Operate lifting and hoisting devices.
10. Abide by company policies and safety regulations.
Preferred Requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial mechanic role.
2. Vocational or Trade Schooling in appropriate discipline(s).
3. Similar experience in an Industrial Fabrication environment would be considered an asset.
4. Excellent written, spoken, and comprehension of the English language.
5. Ability to use and navigate a phone and computer.
6. Shift flexibility is a must (possible nights/weekend).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
