Job summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual who acts as a role model and has Clinical Leadership skills to provide and coordinate Anaesthetic Practitioners predominately in the Angio Suite/Thrombectomy service alongside the Anaesthetic team leaders. You will be a clearly identifiable Senior Clinical staff member, and as Senior ODP/ Anaesthetic Practitioner in Neuro/Thrombectomy Surgical Theatres. You will have significant Specialist Neurosurgical Clinical experience and be able to provide sound clinical expert advice to your team and coordinate and deliver high quality care. Duties will also include supporting Neuro Theatres/other areas when possible.Experience in Neurosurgery Theatres is also essential. Main duties of the job CUH Theatres employ over 600 staff who work across a total of 37 operating theatres including specialities such as General surgery, Transplant, Orthopaedic surgery, ENT and Maxillofacial surgery, Neurosurgery and Paediatric surgery. We are a regional Major Trauma Centre and in doing so serve a very wide and complex population. The post holder must have the ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to work autonomously.
