Key Deliverables You will be responsible for Preparation of sub-assemblies and finished units using hand assembly methods and standard hand tools Manage the inventory levels of finished goods and components Assisting with work scheduling of department’s manufacturing and repair activities Maintaining data systems regarding status of assets worked on and production output Train personnel in container repairs at other Tower or affiliate locations To be flexible and work in all areas of the business when needed including warehouse duties and inspections Compliance with Tower’s Integrated Management System and internal processes Job Requirements Education & Training Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions Good standard of numeracy and literacy Good understanding of assembly principles Skilled use of hand and power tools within the assembly processes Ability to operate automated production equipment Skills Highly driven and ability to function effectively within a team Inspires confidence in others Comfortable with providing leadership and direction to others Ambitious to develop self; embrace new ways of working and taking on new skills Desire to be part of a growing organisation and culture and to influence change Desirable Education & Training- Time served in mechanical craft type apprenticeship, or Formal training in the use of hand and power tools such as joinery ICT and competency with Microsoft package Health and Safety and functional understanding and working practice with COSHH and MSDS Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing Experience at working with inventory and warehousing Travel- Infrequent UK and international What We Offer: Competitive salary bonus Benefits package A supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth Important Notes: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
