We are looking for a dedicated Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) School in Stockport. This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils with ADHD and SEMH, supporting their educational and personal development.
As a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who need tailored support to overcome their barriers to learning. You will help students with ADHD reach their full potential, ensuring they receive the support and care they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide individualized support to students with ADHD and SEMH.
-Assist in developing personalized education plans.
-Help create a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.
-Collaborate with teachers to deliver interventions to support students' progress.
-Foster positive relationships, helping students manage their emotions and behavior.
We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience in:
-Mainstream schools or alternative provision settings.
-Residential care homes or other care environments.
-Any relevant background involving supporting young people with complex needs.
