Job Title: Vehicle Mechanic

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll tackle maintenance, repairs, and modifications with precision and expertise. Whether it's civilian or military vehicles, you'll diagnose faults and masterfully repair mechanical and electrical systems.
Carry out equipment and component serviceability inspections.
Identify mechanical and electrical faults with vehicle and equipment components, assemblies and systems.
Ensure all equipment maintenance and repairs are completed in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications (AESP).
Carry out road tests of vehicles, and functional testing of equipment sub assemblies and systems.
Identify replacement parts and assemblies using Military Information Systems
This position involves manual work. This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based on site at Minley, Hampshire. Essential experience of the Vehicle Mechanic
Qualifications for the Vehicle Mechanic
Served a recognised apprenticeship in Automotive Engineering or served in HM Armed Forces as a Trade Class 1 Vehicle Mechanic (VM)
UK Driving Licence
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
