The Department
The global leadership team sets the strategy in consultation with the Global Strategy Board. The BD teams (comprising Communications, Marketing, Business and Client Development experts) are led by regional heads of business development who are aligned to our regional boards: Asia Pacific, Middle East Africa, North America, UK, Europe. Our strategy seeks to manage and develop clients and profile in our global sectors; adopts a content and product led approach in taking our practice groups to market; prioritises the use the integrated digital marketing channels; and positions our most senior staff as advisors to the business, supported by expert execution teams. Our principles dictate that the highest value clients and opportunities command the highest value BD attention and bespoke tactics.
The Team
This role is part of the firms' Global Marketing team. Their goal is to attract and engage high revenue clients through their buyer journey using data driven marketing techniques. Part of this is to position Clyde & Co as the firm of choice in each of our core sectors on a global basis. To realise this ambition, the marketing team will provide leadership and direction in the development of dynamic global campaigns and marketing strategies driven by data insight.
The Role
The Digital Marketing Executive role sits within the Digital Transformation team (a part of the global marketing team). The Digital Transformation team's purpose is to deliver digital solutions across the firm that support business growth of client relationships and enhance brand reputation.
This role will report to a manager in our digital team and will work alongside our other digital marketing colleagues.
The firm is looking for a motivated digital marketing specialist to improve the success of our global website. This will involve actively looking at ways the firm can improve the website profile we portray across our sectors and regions and identifying areas of improvement across content and audience tailoring.
This person will be hands-on day to day working on our website platform, building on-brand quality web pages to generate maximum engagement.
The role will involve deep diving into the analytics of our website and advise our BD teams on how to improve. This will be facilitated using PowerBI, our chosen data insights tool, and this person will be expected to work closely with our data team to deliver actionable insights that continually improve our website engagement rates and other objectives.
In addition to the website, this role will also support on our other digital channels including recording and publishing of podcasts, building email marketing campaigns, running social media campaigns, building interactive digital experiences using our creative content software, ad hoc support on CRM tasks, and providing support for webinars where needed.
The role will engage with BD and marketing colleagues around the world to support with our global digital marketing programmes across our key practice areas.
This role also provides the opportunity to get involved in various digital marketing projects that support the firm's overall global business strategy.
Core Responsibilities - Website
* Subject matter expert on our website platform of choice (currently Kentico).
* Responsible for build, test, publishing of all website pages and website content.
* Delivery of reporting that provides actionable insight across the business.
* Interactive content design: using the firm's digital content design platform, create new and edit existing interactive content templates to be used online to improve digital client experience.
* Working with our chosen website vendor to deliver ongoing website improvements.
* Working with our document production team to ensure efficient addition and removal of website bio pages.
* Advising teams, colleagues and peer group on website best practice.
* Support Business Development teams and lawyers on organising and running webinars.
* Identify areas for improvement across the content and make recommendations on how to improve engagement through creative delivery of content.
* Identify platform issues and escalate where required.
* Have a relationship with IT to ensure support from a technical aspect.
Additional Responsibilities - Other Digital Channels
* E-comms: build and send of email marketing.
* Podcasts: recording and publishing of podcasts to firm channels.
* Webinars: provide support where needed for running webinars.
* CRM: using the firm's chosen CRM platform, support the CRM team on ad-hoc data work as required.
* Social Media: work with various stakeholders as required to build, manage and run paid social media campaigns (primarily on LinkedIn), including post campaign follow up and reporting.
* Project involvement: ad-hoc support on projects and pilots across the department.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience of using website CMS technologies (ideally Kentico, Sitecore).
* Preferred experience in the following systems: Webinar (GoTo, Microsoft Teams), CRM (any), E-comms (Vuture)
* Experience of content led digital marketing in previous roles, in particular e-comms, website CMS platforms, webinar platforms, recording podcasts.
* Implementation of best practice across website technologies and content.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames.
* Communication skills (verbal and written) that deliver technical solutions in digestible business language and ability to collaborate effectively.
* Experience using PowerBI or other analytics tools.
