E are working on behalf of a prestigious client to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Prudential Risk Manager based in London. This role is essential in supporting the Head of Risk and plays a critical part in shaping and overseeing the bank’s prudential risk management framework. As a Senior Prudential Risk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day second line risk management activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of risk management tools, models, and processes. You will ensure the bank's risk management practices are aligned with the latest regulatory and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and monitor key prudential risk processes, including capital and liquidity forecasting, stress testing, and recovery planning. Provide second line assurance and testing for Treasury and Finance functions, ensuring effective management of liquidity, capital, and credit risks. Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including Executive and Board members, to optimize risk management processes. Support the development and implementation of prudential risk policies and maintain robust control frameworks. Work closely with the Finance team to coordinate key regulatory assessments, such as ICAAP, ILAAP, and Recovery Plans. Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management and Board Committees. Monitor emerging regulatory trends and conduct impact assessments to ensure the bank’s compliance. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or Master’s in Risk Management or a related field. Key Skills: Essential: Strong background in Risk Management with a focus on prudential and enterprise risk. In-depth knowledge of IFRS9 and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Strong project management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
