I am working with a busy Local Authority based in Central England who require an Interim Planning Enforcement Officer to complete an initial 6 month contract, with the view to extend well beyond this.
My client requires an experienced Officer to take over Enforcement cases and effectively manage the process through it’s entirety. You will be fully responsible for investigating alleged breaches of unlawful development and taking formal action and issuing notices if necessary.
As well as issuing notices, you will also be required to capably prepare written reports and evidence and be able to confidently present said evidence in Inquiries, Court, and Planning Hearings.
Due to the nature of the role, the position will be fully remote with very occasional visits required.
My client has left the rate open at this stage, but depending on your level of experience, they have indicated it will likely fall between £35-£45 an hour.
