QHSE Advisor Job Description
We are seeking an experienced QHSE Advisor to join our team at the M&S site in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, permanent position with hours of work from Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, with flexibility required to be visible across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the QHSE Manager in the management of health and safety across the site, including supporting fire evacuations, undertaking audits and submitting any required reports.
* Provide training to the management team, ensuring all key personnel are adequately trained in subjects such as incident investigation and fire safety management.
* Compile data, statistics and compliance reports to identify site trends as required.
* Advise and assist where required with all on-going investigations into all accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed in the sites agreed SLA timings.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH General Certificate, with a strong working knowledge of H&S law and legislation.
* Experience working at a similar level within a logistics/warehousing/FMCG environment.
* Excellent attention to detail, producing consistent quality work and being proactive in your approach to identify potential issues.
* Confidence engaging with colleagues at all levels, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and customers alike.
