Salary Scale: £ 36,413 - £ 53,994 per annum (Depending on experience)
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Redbridge. This position offers the opportunity to inspire and nurture students in understanding the vital role of technology in today’s world.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will engage students with innovative teaching strategies, guiding them through the KS3-KS5 curriculum, and will play a key role in fostering a lifelong love for computing and digital literacy. Your commitment to delivering high-quality education and passion for student success will be crucial in this role.
Responsibilities of a Computer Science Teacher:
Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students from KS3 to KS5.
Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
Participate in faculty meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications for a Computer Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
