About the role: Cornish Bakery is growing fast, and we’re looking for a People Partner who can closely partner with senior leaders to drive the People agenda and deliver our strategy. You will play a key role in delivering a strategic and operational HR service to designated business areas working in partnership with senior leaders and managers to drive workforce planning, manage employee relations cases by providing high-quality advice, support change management and implement HR solutions that align with business objectives. You will champion best practice in HR and strive to embed a positive, engaging and high-performing workplace culture through aligning all our practices and procedures with our purpose and values. As People Partner your key responsibilities will be to: Develop an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the locations and areas that you support. Contribute to the achievement of the People strategy by ensuring a pro-active and efficient provision of professional generalist HR advice. Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers to facilitate the early resolution of employee relations cases, ensuring they are effectively managed. Work in partnership with Operations to support the creation of workforce plans, using the analytics tools within the systems to improve recruitment and retention. Work in partnership with Area Managers to build the management capability in their teams in order to advance the delivery of the area’s people plans. Generate reporting and analyse data to drive improvements in key performance indicators within your areas. Review and create new HR policies in line with best practice and legislation. Drive engagement in your area by communicating and promoting HR initiatives. Lead on People projects that are aligned to business goals, managing the process and involving all relevant stakeholders Work in partnership with managers to plan recruitment for their areas, ensuring vacancies are filled quickly and effectively whilst following best practice. Partner with L&D to ensure we have the right level and number of development programmes to support succession planning.
