Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an incredible firm and work on some of the most interesting cases. Duties include:
1. Represent clients in criminal cases, providing expert legal advice and defence.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and appeals.
3. Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
4. Negotiate with prosecutors and other parties to secure favourable outcomes for clients.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of criminal law and legal procedures.
6. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding of legal processes.
7. Collaborate with colleagues and other legal professionals.
What you'll need to succeed
To be an ideal candidate for this role, you will be a newly qualified solicitor in Northern Ireland with experience in criminal law and have:
1. Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
