Senior Maintenance Engineer
We are currently looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Surrey Region.
As Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will undertake maintenance and inspection of traffic signal assets, ancillary equipment, and/or highways systems; routine and corrective maintenance of equipment including optical maintenance, as defined by the Company and contractual requirements; commissioning of traffic signal installations and other ancillary systems. This position is site-based with all sites in the Surrey region.
What are my responsibilities?
1. Routine and corrective maintenance of traffic signal assets, ancillary equipment, and/or highways systems.
2. Periodic inspections of traffic signal assets, ancillary equipment, and/or highways systems including electrical testing.
3. Accurate collection and processing of data to enable fault-free analysis of equipment performance.
4. Analysis of data to assess performance of equipment within contractual requirements, ensuring correct storage of information once the process is complete.
5. Out of hours working to support service contract requirements standby for emergency repairs.
6. Successful completion of mandatory NHSS training requirements.
7. Undertake appropriate training with the addition of new equipment and systems as and when necessary via formal and informal training, including on-the-job training.
8. Comply with all Health and Safety Procedures and be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible.
9. Any other duties reasonably requested within the skills required for the role.

Desirable Experience:
1. Working at heights and outside.
2. Working as part of a team and working unsupervised.
3. Testing of electrical equipment in an industrial environment.
4. Working on traffic signal and ancillary equipment.
