More about the role:
The South Locality Community Assessment Team for Older Adults is a highly professional Adult Social Care Team working across the Dunstable, Houghton Regis, and Leighton Buzzard areas of Central Bedfordshire. Our staff are important to us, we undertake regular staff surveys and encourage a culture of open and honest dialogue as well as a service led ‘thank you’ scheme where we recognise the great work our colleagues do. Some recent quotes from our new starters are below:
‘It really is a lovely place towork as people care, there is a feeling of being valued bymanagers and colleagues. The support I have had from the management team, Seniors and all my colleagues has been amazing. Their knowledge base is excellent.’
‘It is a culture of learning and respect for each other’s skills. The training I haveattended so far has been amazing, particularly the Safeguarding adults, Safeguarding Investigations, and risk assessment training.’
Next year we will have access to the new Integrated Health and Care Hub in Dunstable where we will be based with NHS and other colleagues, and where we can work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary manner to ensure residents receive services that are seamless and work for them.
