Job overview
To provide a highly professional, comprehensive and efficient Personal Assistant service to the MSK Operations Management team. Attributes of the successful candidate will include high levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality, calmness under pressure, and a friendly, approachable style.
They will be highly literate, with exceptional attention to detail, and will be able to effectively prioritise numerous tasks and work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
Main duties of the job
1. To provide a professional comprehensive and high-quality personal assistant and administrative service to the clinical director and operational team within the MSK business unit.
2. Manage administrative team including recruiting, appraising, managing performance, capability and disciplinary.
3. Provide comprehensive support to senior team including diary management, coordinating and arranging meetings and taking minutes.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Educated to A level or NVQ level 3 Customer Service / Business Admin / ITQ or equivalent Typing qualification or equivalent experience.
* Secretarial /PA qualification (RSAIII) or equivalent.
Experience
* Experience of administrative work in a busy clerical / office environment or reception service.
* Secretarial and/or administrative experience including minute taking/audiotyping.
* Prioritising, planning, organising own tasks and working within guidelines.
* Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations.
* Data entry and analysis experience and documentation.
* Experience of IT packages – Microsoft office.
* Experience of producing documents to a high standard.
* Previous experience of working in NHS.
* Previous PA experience.
Knowledge
* Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
* Knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity.
* Sound knowledge of office procedures.
