Due to the client's impressive market position and continued success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Infrastructure Technician to join their existing team. The ideal candidate would have an element of SQL ability, but even if this is not the case, please do apply anyway as the client will offer you training in this field.

Salary: Circa £25K and overtime remote & onsite plus competitive benefits package which would take the salary to in excess of £25K to £27K. The client also offers a fixed appraisal system and regularly upgrades salaries in line with performance.
The Role:
The client is rapidly expanding, and we are looking to recruit an experienced 2nd Line Infrastructure Technician to join an established fun/driven team.
Ideally holding an IT/Computing qualification, you must be able to demonstrate a logical, methodical, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
You will have responsibility for the day-to-day end-user IT support needs of the company and need to use your technical expertise across a broad range of technologies.
You'll need to be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Ideally from a MS Second/Third line support background – Desktop Services / Server Support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Experience of root cause fault analysis and problem management on Microsoft services based infrastructure.
2. Experience in managing and implementation of network devices and firewalls.
3. Experienced with supporting a wide variety of business customers with a wide range of technical ability.
4. Able to mentor and provide a technical lead to the Infrastructure team.
5. Able to manage the distribution and escalation of support tickets and changes.
6. Experience leading a technical team.
Qualifications:
1. CCNA
2. MCSE or MCSA
3. MCITP
4. VMWARE ESXi 5.0, 5.1, and 6.0
5. ITIL
6. Experience working with SQL
7. Experience working with Cisco ASA Firewalls
