We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join Stannah’s Dedicated HR Operations Team, based in Northern England, with regular attendance at our Newburn factory and support for Stannah Group businesses across the UK.
This job will involve coaching and supporting managers to enhance leadership capability, drive a performance-led culture, and provide comprehensive HR support across employee relations, workforce planning, and change management.
As the HR Advisor, you will work full-time hours. This job is a fixed term contract for 12 Months. Your regular working hours will be Monday to Thursday: 09:00 - 17:15 and Friday: 09:00-16:45 however a flexible approach to be able to work earlies, lates and nights when required.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is passionate about developing managers and improving workplace culture.
HR Advisor Responsibilities:
* Provide HR advice and support to managers on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
* Assist with employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
* Work with HR Business Partners on workforce planning, retention, coaching, and change management.
* Liaise with trade unions and employee representatives, supporting consultations and negotiations.
* Support HR projects, training initiatives, and process improvements across the business.
HR Advisor Requirements:
* Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Officer, providing generalist HR support.
* Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices, with experience in employee relations.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with managers and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and case management platforms.
* CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
