PAT Testing of client equipment to current regulations
• The Service Engineer is responsible for the following client and/ or Company equipment areas
o Vacuum cleaners
o Polishers
o Buffers
o Scrubber Dryers
o Water Boilers
o Domestic and Commercial White Goods
• Within the above categories, the Service Engineer will:
o Perform diagnostic fault investigation
o Initiate repairs as appropriate
o “Run test” the equipment o Train end-user(s) as to correct and efficient working
• The Service Engineer will be in a position to draft/ complete a report on the equipment’s function and potential replacement life-cycle
• Compile report(s) on consumables used during repairs and/ or service work, and liaise with the Service Administrators to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to the client(s)
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, order appropriate parts (liaison with Service Administrators)
• Manage vehicle stock of consumables and ready-use spares • Attend organised training courses as appropriate
• Undertake technical development and training through own cognisance
• Compile daily reports on productivity to facilitate client invoicing
• Monitor and manage own vehicle service schedule
• Build and improve Company / client relationship through outstanding professionalism
• At all times act in the best interest of the Company
