SEND Class Teacher September start Ideally full-time Forest of Dean area Special School Primary - Secondary classes What we are looking for We're working closely with a fantastic special school based in the Forest of Dean area that are looking for a couple of enthusiastic teachers to join the team from September. The school work with a wide range of special needs & disabilities (SLD, MLD, PMLD, ASD, SEMH & Complex Needs) and have a couple of teaching vacancies across primary & secondary age groups. Ideally the successful candidate would hold a QTS, has worked with SEN children before (they are open to mainstream teachers applying) and are available from September. The role The role of class teacher would involve planning your own lessons and act as line manager to your class team. It's essential to maintain high levels of safeguarding practice for all children in school, monitoring individual pupils and recording any incidents relating to safeguarding in line with legislation, school policies and procedures.
