JOB TITLE: People Administrator DEPARTMENT: People Team LOCATION: Bracknell HQ, Hybrid (60% in office) SALARY: £24,000 We are seeking an individual who is embarking on their career in HR, to be a skilled and proactive People Administrator within our international team. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: This is an entry-level opportunity, and our ideal candidate will have completed or will be in the process of completing their HR professional qualification, such as CIPD L3 or above. You will provide comprehensive HR administrative support for the full employee lifecycle across our global Group companies, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational policies. RESPONSIBILITIES: HR queries: Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Manage the HR Group email account, ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely manner and escalated to the right people team member, where appropriate. General administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS system, contracts, and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR). Manage the birthday and gifting process. Support the quarterly employee recognition programme. Onboarding and Offboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including offer paperwork, contracts, registration with benefits and payroll. Conduct background and right to work checks. Conduct people inductions and exit interviews. Arrange induction meetings with team members. Internal events and communications: Plan, schedule and manage all employee-facing events and HR in-person initiatives. Take responsibility for the quarterly people newsletter and liaisons with the marketing team regarding new starter posts on social media and internal events. Book in quarterly company-wide operational updates. Reporting and automation: Generate regular HR reports and metrics to track key performance indicators. Generate and report on employee engagement surveys. Take the lead on continuous improvement of automation currently in place through HR applications. REQUIREMENTS: CIPD 3 or above qualification, or equivalent experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across diverse teams and locations. Strong organisational and compliance management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain compliance in a fast-paced environment. High level of emotional intelligence and discretion when managing sensitive situations. Ability to work calmly under pressure. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive, solutions-driven approach. Commitment to continuous improvement and a one-team ethos.
