Working as site-based HR lead following the resignation of the current HR BP to take responsibility for partnering with site lead and department managers. You will be:
Supporting and upskilling managers to empower them to manage their teams – from supporting in having some of the difficult conversations, to managing performance, identifying talent and overseeing the employee experience at a department level.
Supporting on the delivery of the ER Agenda from disciplinary and grievance to investigations and long-term sick. Ensuring robust delivery of legislatively compliant process whilst managing risk to the business and the employees.
Translating training needs into L&D interventions to build capability within existing teams and developing talent for the future.
Developing policies and processes that are easy to follow and fully support the work force and the business in the application of best practice
Producing key metric data for weekly management meetings. As this is an interim role your responsibilities may evolve and change – the role suits an experience business partner, who has worked in a food manufacturing operation previously and understands the challenges of such an environment.
There is potential for this to evolve into a permanent role, and although for the duration of the interim role we are looking for someone on site ideally, there is flexibility for hybrid working if made permanent.
You will be reporting into the HR Director who is on hand to support you as you transition into your new role.
Candidates must be immediately available and able to drive as the location is remote and not serviced by public transport
