PROJECT MANAGER

Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the safe delivery of projects relevant to the area of expertise.
Quoting
• Responsible for working with the relevant sales rep or Commercial Manager and accurately compiling quotes on the system ensuring that:
o Maximising the required gross margins
o Client data is correct
o Contacts are correct
o Customer purchase orders are received and inputted
o Items are priced as per the up-to-date system price list (ask for help on non-line item prices)
o New customer and credit checking procedures are followed
o Recording accurately all notes, comments, emails, attachments, and complaints in CRM
Project Management • Responsible for the safe delivery of projects within key sectors and areas of expertise
• Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, working with the sales, finance, and operations team
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s)
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
• Work with customers and suppliers to define and document questions, liaise with the business, as well as other stakeholders
• Submit project status reports to stakeholders; anticipate and react to changes
• Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are factored in
• Update Projects on CRM constantly
• Maximise the required gross margins when planning projects ensuring cost control is maintained throughout, and purchase orders are correctly raised to cover additional works
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that the best value quotes are obtained
Site Customer Visits • Conduct site visits as and when required and report on their progress
• Ensure that milestone reviews and payments are completed and followed up
• Ensure that meetings with clients are conducted in the most efficient ways possible (face-to-face, digital, telephone)
Customer Contact • Maintain a healthy relationship with current clients to ensure future opportunities are explored
• Actively seek new potential customers and cross-sell products and services
• Report all activity in the company CRM
